Crescent Seafood Dumpling Soup
Ingredients
- 12 Crescent Seafood Dumpling
- ½ Onion
- 4 pieces sliced Lemongrass
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 1 tbsp Soya sauce
- 1-2 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Chilli powder
- A squeeze of Lime juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 cup Water, or as needed
- 2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves
- 1 -2 tsp Chilli oil (optional)
Preparation Method
- In a pot on the stove, sauté Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Lemongrass until fragrant and cooked through.
- Add salt, chilli powder, soya sauce, fish sauce and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Pour in water and ½ cup coconut milk.
- When the broth begins to simmer, gently drop the Crescent Seafood Dumplings in.
- Gently simmer Crescent Seafood Dumplings in broth for 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Add a squeeze of lime juice and the remaining coconut milk, then simmer for five minutes more.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot, with a drizzle of chilli oil.
